Tips by skin type

For those of you who missed the previous inserts - below are some tips we shared with our subscribers about their skin type!

YOUR SKIN TYPE | COMBINATION

  • Be gentle (i.e. don't use harsh cleansers and exfoliation), control sebum with gentle exfoliation at least twice a week.
  • Keep your skin hydrated by using moisturizing toner, face oil, emulsion or light moisturizer. ­ It's okay to use different products for different "zones"­ as needed on your face - to target and address the areas dryness, oiliness or for your pores.
  • Ingredients good for your skin type: Aloe Vera, Bee Venom, Donkey Milk, Ceramide, Green Tea, Honey, Niacinamide, Propolis, Snail Mucin.

YOUR SKIN TYPE | DRY

  • Focus on hydration – look for products that are oily and emollient – be generous with the amount you apply on your skin.
  • It’s helpful to carry around facial mists to spray on your face throughout the day – especially a “must” product for plane rides!
  • Try sleeping masks – you apply a layer as the last of your routine and it works while you sleep to hydrate your skin.
  • Ingredients good for your skin type: Aloe Vera, Ceramide, Donkey Milk, Goat Milk, Hyaluronic Acid, Oils, Sea Kelp, Shea Butter, Snail Mucin 

YOUR SKIN TYPE | SENSITIVE

  • You need to extra careful before trying new products – make sure to patch test and check the ingredients to make sure it doesn’t contain ingredients that your skin is sensitive to (i.e. fragrance, dyes, etc.)
  • Look for skincare that is gentle, whether it is a cleanser, exfoliator, etc. 
  • Ingredients good for your skin type: Aloe Vera, Ceramide, Cucumber, Donkey Milk, Galcatomyces/Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, Goat Milk, Propolis, Shea Butter

YOUR SKIN TYPE | OILY

  • Be gentle (i.e. don't use harsh cleansers and exfoliation), control sebum with gentle exfoliation at least twice a week, and hydrate by using hydrating toners and gel, and light moisturizers (avoid heavier products). 
  • Don’t be afraid to use oil­based cleansers – they are great for oily skin! 
  • Ingredients good for your skin type: Aloe Vera, Bee Venom, Charcoal, Donkey Milk, Glycolic Acid, Green Tea, Honey, Niacinamide, Propolis, Salicylic Acid, Snail Mucin, Tea Tree Oil
